In this webinar, we discuss simple and quick enzymatic methods for global, as well as sequence-specific, determination of both DNA modifications throughout various genomes (1). T4 phage beta-glucosyltransferase has emerged as the enzyme of choice for genome-wide 5-hmC quantifications. Similarly, using MspI sensitivity to glucosylated 5-hydroxymethylcytosine, we have established a scheme to interrogate differential methylation status at specific loci (2). In this webinar, various enzymatic techniques and their advantages will be discussed. Refereence: 1. Terragni, J., Bitinaite, J., Zheng, Y and Pradhan, S.
